\nThe duration of the internship is ten weeks, from Monday, June 13, 2016 \u2013 Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Interns will be based in NCEH/ATSDR offices where they will engage in summer-long projects; they will also participate in trips and activities that expose them to the many facets of environmental health.
\nWeek 1: Orientation
\nOrientation week includes security clearance, trainings and various introductions to the CDC and ATSDR at the Roybal and Chamblee campuses.
\nWeek 2-9: Ongoing Activities
\nWeek 10: Final Presentations, Program Evaluations, Intern Graduation
\nInterns will be provided a stipend of approximately $600 per week. Please note this stipend is delivered on a monthly basis, at the end of each month. Therefore, you will not receive your first paycheck until the last day of June. Travel to Atlanta will be the student\u2019s responsibility. Potential housing options will be provided in advance, though interns will be expected to make their own arrangements for housing and transportation.
