\nOn May 1, 2007 a ten member Steering Committee was established to begin the planning and oversight of the MAHC development process and to set up and coordinate the activities of the Technical Committees.
\nThe Steering Committee guided the MAHC process. Committee members set priorities, developed operational documents, created the Technical Committees, appointed chairpersons, and advised the Technical Committees on the MAHC process and objectives. The Steering Committee also exercised editorial control of the Technical Committees\u2019 products to ensure that developed materials were written uniformly and fit the MAHC\u2019s mission and objectives.
